Botanical Gardens

On Monday, I took Kara and B to the Botanical Gardens, and we met the other cousins in the family there to have a little picnic and do some exploring. We had a ton of fun! In the mediterranean exhibit, there were all kinds of bugs to look at and touch, including an emperor scorpion--yuck! We're probably going to buy a season pass to the bio park because we love going to the gardens, zoo, and aquarium throughout the summer.

Here are some pictures from our trip! (P.S. Kara is sitting here smiling and laughing in her sleep as I write this. She does that all the time--it's so hilarious and cute!)

Happy Easter 2010!

Last night, we dyed eggs. (Well, my mom and I dyed eggs). We had a lot of fun dying silly eggs (example: we had a set of 2 green eggs, and one "ham" egg that looked like a pig). After we dyed eggs, I made a cheesecake for Easter dinner, and my mom worked on other stuff for dinner.

This morning, we came over and hunted for eggs. Kara did an awesome job and found all of her eggs, with a little help from mom, of course ;)

I am pretty crazy about Kara, and find her to be a very interesting subject for pictures, so here are some pictures from a few days ago, and then some pictures from today.
She looks so sweet when she sleeps:
